I think yeehah has a point with the second opinion. and probably an indy will give you a better estimate than the dealer, which may help with your decision. 70k is still pretty low miles for a 94 and there should be more life in it. if you sell it you will not get the $5800 for sure. Do a lot of searching in this bb for stuff on rough starts, they are usually not hard to remedy. My 94 V6 has 90k and i love it. I would go for the repairs, and I would not let the dealer do them. good luck
