Do not use NGK, use Bosch FR8LDC on the V6 engine. I can tell you for a fact that the "genuine Saab" box contains the Bosch FR8LDC plug, because I bought the genuine Saab ones once.
I use the standard FR8LDC plugs, not the platinum 4s. Car is running great on them. You can verify with the Bosch part finder or use the electronic catalog from Trollhattan or someone like that. The Bosch part finder shows 3 options, one of which is FR8LDC.
I don't see why you shouldn't be able to buy these plugs at any old auto parts store. Try Advance Auto?
I have seen a few errors in Eeuroparts catalog before. This could be one. For example, they carry certain interior light bulbs that don't show up for my 1994 900 under any category. But if you plug in the part number you can find them.
