Hey thanks for the reply guys. I thought I put my climate in there. I am driving in Los Angeles so now its between 80-102 degrees F depending on which part of L.A.
I have always changed my own oil and I have always used the SAAB oil filters but I just couldn't get one for the last oil change. Thats why I asked about alternate oil filters.
I did try an AC Delco once but it only has two full turns before the seal butts up against the surface on the block.
