I have/had both, and overall feel the NG is a better car. I do agree that the front-end on the C900 feels much more solid, however I spend a lot more time going straight than I do turning!
Ergonomics and comfort are far superior on the NG; the C feels like I'm sitting on a milk crate in a home-made go-kart compared to the newer car.
I love the look of the C; the NG is pretty generic.
I used to play with my 92 on weekends, my NG is a terrific daily driver.
It all comes down to taste and preference, and we all get to have our opinions. After all, it is our $$!
