yes. i just clipped near the fastening points and let the spring 'pop' back into the bumper. i later grabbed the pieces when i went to take the bumper off to install the vigen intercooler, but it doesn't hurt anything to leave them in there. i thought about pursuing the prostripe molding, but i think it looks fine with nothing there. looks stock, the indentation is only 1/4 inch or so, so you cannot tell. it looks a lot better (to me) than the chrome strip (i couldn't stand it)...i just preferred to spend my money on the performance upgrades rather than comsmetics. only other things i have done cosmetically are take a screwdriver and bust the orange out of my turn signals, and i actually bought the clear side markers from nick at genuinesaab.com. if it's bugging you, post your email address and i will send you some pictures of the removed molding this week.
