'97 SEt. I had a nasty scrape last year, a big rig clipped the driver's side door and ripped the front bumper off. Did about $6k in damages, including a dented wheel on the passenger front (i was parked on the curb).
Now of course the front shocks/bearings are making odd noises because "they looked okay" during the repair and weren't replaced. Consider it post-traumatic stress syndrome for your car--unusual forces (like being rear ended) tend to create problems later on, even in seemingly unrelated systems.
The local San Rafael body shop took three and a half weeks to put my baby back together. I assume at least half that time was waiting for parts because the bill only indicated 40 hours of labor. I suppose it also depends on where your shop gets its parts...it's not unheard of to head to the salvage yard and then charge manufacturer price for body panels.
