I have a 96 SETC with 134K and the driver's seat is not adjusting. The heat seems to work fine. I've gone through the relays, the wires where the seat back meets, etc. and have gotten temporary relief but seat shorts out when I move the seatback up.
I'm pretty sure it's a short - when attaching the conncectors from the car to the seat I hear current arcing and same thing when I pull the 30A fuse for the seat (which has not fused).
Is there any other place that I should be looking. From searching the board, it seems like the relay and the seatback account for most problems. Lucky me to have the oddball...
Thanks,
Ian
