How many miles were on the ATF before you changed it, & was it a single drain-&-fill, a multiple drain-&-fill, or a "flush machine" change?
I did my 9-3's first drain-&-fill (single drain) at 35k miles with standard Havoline ATF & noticed no difference in the amount of vibration or idle drop. Then I did my second single drain at 43k with Mobil 1 ATF & noticed less vibration & less idle drop. Since I'm changing less than half the fluid each time, my plan now is to change it every 10k miles (next one in a few months at 50k) with Mobil 1 for as long as we own the car.
The link goes to a garage in Spokane which recommends yearly ATF changes (item #4).
