A/C off at the time, vehicle stopped?

screech or chirps: serp belt pully
slow tick at idle: lifters which you will only hear in the cab
buzzy: timing chain or balance shaft chain

On the 2.3 N/A engines there is an air pump in the LH fender that pumps air into the exhaust for a while after a cold start.

I think that you need to find out what oil has been used and switch to Mobil 1 0W40. These engines have trouble with dyno oil if the changes have been neglected in any way. Make sure that the low oil pressure switch makes the warning light on the cluster come on with the engine not running and ignition on. These switches fail quite often.

This vehicle is probably due for its 2nd coolant flush. The O2 sensor does not need to be replaced at any set age. The fuel filter is good for 100,000 miles or more.

Do inspect the upper serp belt idler pully. These do not last forever and when they go its tow truck time. If DIY the job, do the short belt mod and save time and money.
