1) A/C low-side valve is nearest to the battery.
3) The low-side pressure should be in the 32-33 psi range, but before measuring, run the system for 5+ minutes on max cool, hot day, recirculate off, doors open, fan on full blast. Dean has many reference posts on this if you search. For example, see link below.
I can't answer (2) as I don't have ACC, but I think that *might* be how it is supposed to work. (At least the Econ switch is.) Study this section in the owner's manual carefully! This issue was driving my mom crazy in my parents' 9-5 until they figured out what Econ did.
