If sticking lifters/valves, this will be more of a ticking than a buzzy sound. This can often be fixed by a solvent type oil treatment that claims to free sticking rings and valves. This will be a 10-12 ounce can and feel watery when you shake it. You must avoid anything that feels thick. Follow the directions on the can.
If caused by low oil pressure, can be from sludge and the above may help. Can also be a sticking oil pressure relief valve. You need to confirm that your low oil pressure sending switch does work. Ignition on, engine not running, look for it. Many many of these switches fail!
If you really have a NG900, then check to see if you have a solid steel hanger for the rear of the cat. If so, it will be cracked. Possibly you hear that. There is a new style, with a rubber hanger to replace the solid one.
