Sorry, I've been chasing this thing for four years now with no success. I've replaced the IAC and most of the vacuum lines, the TPS has checked out fine too. The only sure way I found to stop the behavior is to make an appointment with the dealer! I found that pinching the hose leading to the IAC would bring the rpms down during a high idle condition, which leads me to believe that for some reason the ECU is telling the IAC to open wider than it needs to. Putting a TECH2 on the car when it's idling high could probably show where the bad input is coming from, but it never does it at the dealer.
