I've bought one of the kits but haven't installed it yet. It is a kit developed by Saab to replace the auto stick (sensonic?) system that was available in europe. So it's all factory parts. I guess there were problems with that system so Saab converted cars back to the normal clutch pedal. The clutch slave cylinder is in the bell housing so the trans does have to be dropped. You also have to replace the clutch pedal assembly, drill holes in the firewall to mount the clutch master cylinder and run the plumbing. It doesn't look like a project for the meek, and even you had a shop install the slave when you were having the clutch replaced there are still a fair number of hours spent replacing the other stuff.
I'm excited to get to mine, if I can find the time. I'd be afraid to see what a shop would charge.
