I have just bought a 96 900s convertible (non turbo.). very happy with it. I have had it converted to LPG. I now notice an occasional misfire at about 1700 revs usually, but also at higher revs, usually on acceleration . This was a problem before the conversion, but then i thought it was just scuttle shake, not having had a SAAB before, but only became really apparant after the conversion cos these things are more noticeable on gas. Distributor cap was all black and scored on the contacts. Plugs and airfilter which were all clogged up were changed which made an immediate difference but it seeems to be coming back. Any suggestions.I would be grateful for any help. Does any one else have an LPG conversion? I am getting 21.5 mpg on gas. Was hoping for more but then on petrol book seems to suggest av is only 25mpg.
Cheers
Paul Gallagher
