My 95SET was 3 channel ABS. I don't know what the '94 was. The '96 ?or '97? went to 4 channel ABS. So as long as the brake system was changing, I would not be surprised if the MC had changed as well. '97 got bigger and thicker rotors as well.
You need someone to look up the parts for you. A visual exam will help too.
Your leak may be the fittings or reservoir bottle or its rubber mounts to the MC. If so, thats external to the MC and can be fixed. If the MC is leaking, it would have to be at the shaft end of the MC. That can be fixed by a MC overhaul where the bore is cleaned up and new cup seals are installed. Often this is piston and cup assy that is changed. This will work unless the MC bore is severely rusty and pitted.
Many times, cup seals leak a while after brake work such as pads/rotors and or brake system bleeding. If the MC bore id getting rusty, then the rust forms at the extremes of travel where the seals do not sweep. When you push the petal to the floor during brake maintenace operations, the cup seals can be cut on the rust deposits and things go slowly down hill from there. A block of wood to limit petal travel is a good idea. And changing the fluid at the reservoir every year is good preventative maintenance.
When you change a MC... Install the new/rebuilt one, then force the caliper pistons in. This will back flush the fluid though the MC and you will not get air into the pipes or ABS system. Then with the reservoir filled, pump the petal to advance the pistons to the rotors, and be sure to limit the petal travel as you do this.
