In response to all of the things brought up by Dans 'I want an opinion' post- alot of the replies scared me alot. I know the NG v6's are potentially very troublesome. I needed a new Saab and I was so excited to find a beautiful green 94 900s v6. I asked the woman why she wanted to get rid of it and she said how she just got a Honda and a Jeep. (Not really a Saab person) The car was in great condition, the engine was clean, oil good, coolant full, clean interior. It was a nice drive. What could go wrong? So far its been great. It needs new front struts and there is a slight steering wheel vibration from speeds of 65 and up depending on throttle response. Lately I've been crossing my fingers every time I drive it because if something big goes wrong I know I won't be able to afford it. The car came with NO service records. It has 90,000 miles. I need to get it inspected in October. I take it to a Saab specialist. My main question is what should I ask the mechanic to check over to ensure that this car will last me another 100,000 miles?
