rotating the tires from front to back.
I found with new tires and rims, that after the first rotation I was getting a terrible vibration of the steering wheel, dash, etc. Occurred upon acceleration from 40-75. After searching, I found the possibilities below. However, to first rule the simply stuff out, I rotated the tires back (to their original locations). It cured the problem, which signs point to a wheel(s) out of balance. The shop I got the tires at has lifetime everything, so I will take them back and have them have a go at it. If not your case (and it does not work for me), try to find a local shop with the Hunter GSP9700. They do a four-wheel rolling balance (where tires are still on the car) let is all the rave here.
Other possible:
Enough air pressure?
flat spot on tire
wheel out-of-round (aka bent wheel)
alignment
wheel bearing
CV joints and the likes.
more through a search - this issue has been discussed extensively.
I hope this helps. Thanks.
Sean
