I have a few quick questions about my '94 900SE.

One, how do I prevent the ACC from coming on automatically when I start the car? The manual appears to explain how, but when I follow its directions, the ACC comes on nonetheless.

Two, when the climate control is off, a great deal of heat still blows out the dash vents. Nothing comes out the vents if I close them, which sounds like a solution, but the heat still pours from other openings in the dash and instrument panel. Is this normal?

Three, the temperature needle never rises above the mid point. No matter how hot the weather got this summer. No matter how much the car idled in the heat. No matter how often I could hear the engine fan turn on and off, the needle never rose above the midpoint. Is that normal? Is the engine temp really that well-regulated?

And four, why aren't there any decent cup-holders?!?! My '87 900 doesn't either, but I figured with seven more years to plans, they'd have thought of a way to work a couple into the scheme. Nope. Or is it just that I'm the only 900SE owner on the planet low-brow enough to want to carry a drink in his car?
