the tracks. That's why the placed an intermediate pulley to slow down the wobble.
It seems to be working great though without that pulley.
It might have been one of these old engineers remembering the 99 in late 70s when they started to install an A/C compressor on the B-engine, creating a too long span for the belt between alternator and compressor.
The belt would start to wobble and throw itself of the pulleys.
The fix was a rather clumsy idler pulley and bracket installed in the middle to calm down the belt swing.
