Thought I'd take a minute to put in a plug for something GOOD that happened to me the other day. I had my son's 95 900s towed to SAABWORKS in Amherst NH (they have 2 locations now - west Milford and now in Amherst as part of SAABS.COM location). Anyway, the issue was non-start. They poked and prodded at it for a couple of hours yesterday morning, replaced some things to see what was up. Fuel flow was good, it had spark, no codes. All of a sudden it started up. They put everythign back to the way it was, and it still started. Hmm. Could be the fuel pump is getting flaky (flow but low pressure). Could be the ignition switch getting flaky. Could be some junk got sucked into the fuel pump when my son ran it down to 1 gallon last week and then it cleared itself out. Who knows - it may happen again, maybe it won't.

But the reason for the post is that SAABWORKS charged me $0 to do the diagnostics. They said that even though they put in labor, they really didn't do anything to fix it, and they figure if they treat me right I'll come back for other stuff. I sort of stood there with my jaw hanging open and left knowing I probably would give them some future business. Just as an fyi, they gave an estimate to replace the fuel pump if it did turn out to be going south. Prices I've seen on this board range in the $600-$700 range. Their estimate? $400.
