I bought my 1997 900S 2.3 Auto for $18,800 CDN in 2001. A 2001 Civic/Accord was between $22,000 to $28,500....

The Standard equipment on my Saab couldn't be matched by even these Japanese car's mid-level.... Saab, regardless of repairs, still comes out ahead with good value, prestige, and solid feel.

My Mom has a Toyota Corolla ... I drive the same way in both cars. I get more respect on the road with the Saab then the Corolla (ie. yielding, pulling over for passing etc). Just an observation.

Enjoy your Saab its one of the few cars manufactured for the Elite Individual... afterall they do make Fighter Jet's too!!
