Hi Margaret

I'm not an expert on why your wipers fuse would blow, and I'm away from my 900 (and its manual) so I can't tell what else is on that circuit. However as an electrical engineer I'll tell you that I'm nervous about you using a 30 A fuse to replace a 20 A. Using a fuse which is 150% of the designed current rating will allow 10 A extra current to flow, which is a potential fire hazard. You should be able to find those 20 A fuses at any PepBoys/Cragar/AutoZone/variety store, I believe they are a common automotive fuse style.

As for the clutch cable, I had a similar situation about a year ago. When I stepped on the clutch pedal, I heard noises I knew were cable-related. I looked under the hood at where the clutch cable comes from the firewall and kind of yanked on the cable a number of times and that got the self-adjuster to adjust again. I've since heard that it's not really a good idea to yank on the cable like I did, as it can cause the self-adjuster to get even worse. I did end up having my clutch cable replaced this past June, it was under $200 for the part and installation at my local Saab dealer.

Please get the 20 A fuse. Best of luck.
