I have a 95 900 convertible and recently the engine cuts out while driving, with no apparent warning. I've tried to isolate whether it may be the ignition but jiggling the ignition while driving does not seem to cause the problem. It has happened once when attempting a turn, another time while backing up, twice while on a straightaway. I've spoken to the dealer and will probably have to bring it in, but even just talking with them, they have no idea and the gentleman I spoke with is not even sure if they'll be able to diagnose it as we cannot duplicate the problem or isolate it. Has anyone run into something like this? It's a bit nerve wracking never knowing when the engine's going to die. Luckily I've been able to pull over and sometimes it starts right up, other times it takes a few tries. Not like the older type cars where you could pop into neutral and restart without having to come to a stop.
