Steering rack diameter for 94-94?

I'm trying to design a clamp for the 94-96 ng900 but can not get my hands on one. I've contacted my dealership but some reason they can not get me the rubber clamp. I've called over ten salvage yards and they will not sell the steering rack clamp without the whole steering rack. It seems like everything is working against me on the project. What I need to know is the diameter of the steering rack and offset from the firewall to the bottom of the steering rack. If I know these specs then I can start making these clamps. Any help would be appreciated.
