If there are cylinder to cylinder differences in the plugs that suggests injectors. Techron can help if caused by simple deposits. Ifs aways a good idea to 'see' how the plugs are doing. For example, if they are dark, then you know that the mixture is actually rich, no matter what the codes have to say. Don't check plugs after running a cold engine. Check in the state that they are after some normal running and longer distances.
The T5 does not have a MAF and is quite immune to VAC leaks. The VAC from the TB to the MAP is very critical. But if thats bad, you would expect more severe problems. VAC leaks, for the most part, simply appear to the rest of the system to be the throttle plate slightly open. Higher idle speeds could result if beyond the range of the IAC, which will try to mask such issues.
Slow response codes might indicate that the heater is not working. You checked it. But is there really current flow.
