my dealer has come clean & admited that almost all of these cars have this problem and they & Saab don't have a clue what is causing this problem
so...they claim that GM has an engineer at head office working full time on this problem as well as one in Sweden....they will let me know as some as a cure is found....2 weeks ago they replaced some control arms with updated ones, however the car is no better, in the meantime I'm driving my $1000.00 winter beater dodge Colt because the Saab is so horible to drive on the HWY!
This has been going on for almost 2 years now......at first it was rims, then tires...I have had 2 sets of rims on it (from my dad's 02 93) and 4 sets of tires....the even forced me into having the last set force balance...then the tales of all the other cars (900's & 93 started to come out when I cornered the technican who was working on the car......thank God I've got GM extended warranty, but they have declined to do any further repairs untill technical services come up with a solution......at the speed GM moves this could take months......what do you guys think, search for "vibration" on this board and you'll find hundreds of posts.....looks like no one here has found a solution yet either!!!!!
