Radiator Leak

I have a leak in my radiator (Saab 900SE 110,000 km V6 A/C Automatic Transmission). The leak is very small. since it was discovered about 2 weeks ago i never had to add any coolant. i expect that i am getting about a droplet every few hours (it is weeping)at the area between the radiator and the core, and i do not think that it is leaking when it is hot or it is just evaporating. Now i have few options and few questions to ask. As a solution to this problem i can do the following:
1) do nothing and add coolant until the problem becomes more important
2) add bar's leak
The question i have is any side effect ? any problem with the product like blockint the heater of the radiator ?
3) Change the radiator
The question i have is any recommendation as far as radiator replacement, the valeo is the OEM are others that are cheaper ok? What is the amount of transmission oil i need to add to compensate for the oil lost in the cooler. how long does it take to change the radiator? is it DIY job.
I thank you in advance for your answers.
Gabriel
