advance and auto zone sell K&N, they never have the model that the V6 uses, you will have to ask them to order it. Your V6 doesn't have a turbo on it right? If yours is anything like my 94 V6, you will not have much room to use the 3" short pipe intake. The standard intake duct goes down from the air box and the open end is somewhere at bottom of engine bay. The problem with using the short intake is making sure you get cold air. Some have taken out the right fog light, and re-routed intake to this cavity and made a small ram-air-scoop. Its not a big area, and you will only get pressure increases when you are going fast, but investigate these opportunities. just remember: you want cold air, you dont want a lot of twisting lengthy duct, and you dont want to vaccume dirt off of the road. I have been thinking of doing something to mine for a while, just havent.
good luck
