Antenna mast Posted by Shaun [Email] (#683) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Shaun) on Mon, 8 Dec 2003 08:38:25 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Just wanted to share my experience with this small DIY...
I swapped out the antenna mast this weekend with little problems. One thing I did want to mention, and I'm not sure if someone else has already posted this but if you use the instructions listed on eEuroparts, do not try to pull off the clear drain hose. It will not budge. At least it didn't on my '97 ng covertible. I spent a good 20 minutes (mainly cause I'm so stubborn) trying to get the damned thing off. I fillaly gave up and just left took the motor housing cover off with it still on (but not bolted to) the bracket. All in all, not too much problems. And now my antenna goes up and down. WOOHOO!!!
