Fearing the worst. How much is it still worth?

My engine overheated while I was sitting in traffic during the snowstorm on friday night. Apparently the water pump went, and the engine may or may not have seized.
Assuming the worst, and that the engine has seized, how much would the car be worth as a parts car or as a fixer upper? I don't know enough to part out the car myself, so I'd just sell it as is.
I'm trying to determine if it's worth replacing the engine, or just getting what I can get for it and buying a new(used) car.
It's a 1996 900SE Turbo w/ 87,000 miles.
