Ha Ha Ha, I had the unit out this weekend and saw the sockets in the back of the unit but didn't know that was what they were. I spent three hours driving around town trying to find a #6 torx to remove the circuit card to get to the lights. Geez, this is a 10 minute job. Thanks for the post, I just ran down to the car and pulled the bulb. The leads of the bulb are wrapped around the socket. I used a pick and long nose pliers to pull the bulb out of the socket and will check with radio shack. I susepct the $7.00 bulb at the dealer includes the bulb and socket assembly.

By the way, the drivers side kick panel is easier to remove/replace then the passenger side.
