i work at a car dealorship here in MN, since it's seriously cold out (or was), i was able to work in the heated shop, instead of a spaceheated garage, huge difference, helped lots. that being said...

probably took me three hours all said and done, with some fooling around and such.

taking the glove box out is easy, you will lose the light inside of it, and will have to cut away some of the plastic on the left hand side (to get the cable to the player).

i suggest using a different cable for the cd player, and leaving the stock one in the car, incase this doesn't work out for you, and you need to keep it in trunk. if you don't have one (i got an extra one with the new changer), you only need like two feet, but more will be able to stuff in the dash hidden.

the next part, mounting the player in the box, was the hardest. took me a while to figure out how, but when i got it, it was pretty easy.

left side was screwed into a hole that the light used, right side of changer was attatched to the top, using the existing bracketry, reversing it so the 'L' is over the changer, not going away from it like normal. then i just measured where the holes would be, and drilled through the top of the box, and screwed in the changer to the top.

put everything back together, fit like a glove (no pun intended).

i've got a day off tomorrow, so i guess if you asked nicely i could take a bundle of pictures.

Jon
