This is a continuation of many posts from others, but I felt it needed a "repost" to get at a few different issues:

When cold out (-5 to +10F, in MN) I am having intermittent starting issues. Battery is fine (it cranks strong). The engine turns over fine, it just has firing issues. A month back, I swabbed out the TB and IAC quite well. At that time the symptom was it would fire immediately and then die (an air issue related w/ IAC, I thought ... it wasn't getting the air it needed to continue to run). If I could get it started holding down the gas pedal a bit (to open the butterfly on the TB for air), then it would start in the 3000 rpm range, and keeping it rev'd like this for a bit "warmed things up" so that I could then back off an it would idle fine. If I "backed off" to idle before it was warmer, it would then die (IAC still sticking, I thought). I had also run a couple of cans of injector cleaner through the gas.

All was going well until this week. Similar problem, but now it would not initially fire at all, but would just crank and crank with no sign of life. I poured some fuel additive directly in the TB, then it would start for a few seconds and die. So, that makes me now think fuel supply problem. The fuel pump (w/ fuel filter?) was replaced less than a year ago (previous owner, I will verify this when I get home). The only other thing I know of doing is more fuel additive to try and clean everything out. I did that, held the pedal down while having put some additive directly in the TB, and I got it to run ... but wow was it rough for a few minutes. It backfired a few times, and I had to hold the gas down part way for a while to just keep it sputtering at 1500 rpm. Finally it cleared itself out, and now it has run fairly well for the last 2 days. But, next day with -10F temps, and I feel like I know what is coming. What other actions can I take?
