sounds like the classic V6 valve cover gasket leak. Looking at the engine, take off the engine cover (that big plastic thing that I think says like "saab" on it, use the torx screwdriver that comes with your spare, 4 screws)
Then, look where the yellow oil cap is located, it is like two long rectangles with the three spark plug wires running in between the two rectangles. That is the valve cover. run your fingers along and around the lower edge of it (cool engine!), if they come back all oily, you have the 'ole VC leak. Take that small (2"?) plastic piece from the spare tire area, and pull off the spark plug wires, are they filled with oil? same, VC leak. You need to remove it, remove the old gasket, fit new gasket and sealant, and re-affix.
You can DIY it if you are inclined, for the shop to do the front should run you about 1 hour time, the rear is more involved.
