Up here in MA we're having partucularly bad weather (as I'm sure you know) so my CD changer is on the fritz; however, if I disconnect the cable (at the CHanger in trunk) with the car running and the radio on, then plug it back in, I can actualy here the radio acknowledge the CDs and one begins to play. All my attempts to use the process mentioned in POE or T's posts did not succeed (I also think it is possible I was not doing it correctly), but just unplugging the changer and plugging it in while the car is running w/radio on, did work. Good LUck.
