I want to thank everyone who came. Looks like a couple of us got trophies for People's Choice Awards in their individual classes. Pat won for his V4 Sonett, and your's truly for the Talladega Edition 900 SET Coupe'. Pretty cool.

Jeff Williams of S&S AutoSales came up under a valiant effort Saturday: About an hour into the drive his turbo decided to self destruct outside Winchester, Va. He managed to limp back to the shop, swap out a Turbo from Al's build project, and make it to the show by around 1 PM.

And speaking of Al, he brought out his vintage baby blue 95 wagon. '68 or '69 model year? Al will have to correct me on that one. Gorgeous little car. Mike Wintlow joined him for the drive. And after a week of trash talking from co-worker Jeff Williams about actually making it all the way up to Carlile in a 36 or 37 year old car, I have no doubt Jeff is catching hell for his blown turbo today in the shop! ;-D

Lots of great people, food and of course SAABS. The Saab group (CPSC, WASSAAB, NESA, and even some Ohio commrades contributed) won for the most cars entered of any make once again. Last count was in the 160's. Final count hopefully will be posted later this week.

We're on for the next club meeting at the 4P's in Falls Church on the 5th of June, and a WASSAAB/S&S BBQ on the 25th of June. Final logistics will be worked out with Rick Stanley later this week and I'll post them accordingly.

Brochures are now printed on quality paper and we'll be distributing them shortly. I wanted to thank Randy Rude for following up on that score. Great job, man!

Looks like we've got a number of sources for Dyno runs. We'll be discussing that and figuring out a Fun Run date as well at the June 5th meeting.

Speaking of which, a couple of nominations have been made (thank you Paul Immo, much obliged), but we need more. Treasurer is still open, and we have the issue of incorporating, which we need to do fast. I've been in contact with an attorney and hope to leap that hurdle shortly, but I'd really like more members on the board to approve.

I'll be posting what pictures I took on the Saabpics server shortly, and will link you all to it. Hope to also get access from Mike Heyse to our own website. I've been remiss in following up on that score just due to work, Carlisle, work, and well, work.
