Is someone claiming mechanic client privilege? lol!
If your local I would suggest bringing the car in for service and see if they will write down/check what's been done, that way they know that you own the car and that you are interested in this info for the records.
Did you purchase the car from the previous owner or know the previous owner? They "own" the records and may have a copy of them, you never know. If not run a carfax and send a politely worded letter to see if they have the records or can talk to SI on you behalf. Your interested in whats done, not the credit card info, price or name and address, worse case is that they can blank it out or xfer the info to a different sheet of paper.
Barring that, ask to talk to one of the owners and see if you are willing to fax them your VIN/registration to prove who you are and that you own it. You might possibly offer to pay a "copy" or paperwork fee that is reasonable, so can you get the car info(what and when), not the who, why or how much was charged.
Hope this helps
