Looks like the T-storms will blow through Saturday evening along with a cold front, leaving us with a bright, beautiful day for us.

Cooter's Fun Run is a drive through the hills and dales of rural Virginia at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Great twisty roads, gorgeous countryside, bluegrass music, and Bar-B-Q. General Lee and possibly Ben "Cooter" Jones will be on hand at his roadside BBQ stand and mini museum to the Dukes of Hazard.

There'll be plenty of fun driving, but I promise there will be no airborne rides unlike those seen in the show--I've been airborne in a Saab before, and while fun in the air, the landing can be quite abusive to the suspension!

If you haven't emailed me yet and are planning on coming out, please click on my "handle" above and let me know you're coming. I'll need to print out enough pace notes for everyone.

Directions to the place are in my previous posting, but if you need them again, please email me and I can get you there.

Again, it's this Sunday, August 17. We meet at 10:00 am, and hit the happy trail by 11.
