2.1 head and intake on '87 9000 turbo

Thanks for the additional info. I figured you must have removed quite a bit to get down to that weight. Weight reduction is like free horsepower!
As for the 2.1 head, the '91-'93 900 2.1 (same as '90-'93 9000 2.3) will bolt right on, and should reduce the compression ratio slightly on your stock 2.0 bottom end. This should allow you to run a little more boost safely. 9000 and classic 900 models do not share the same intake manifold configuration, and I don't think the 2.1 900 manifold would fit on a 9000. Apparently, the 9000 2.3 normally aspirated manifold (2 piece) works well though.
My brother and I are wrapping up our '86 SPG lightweight autocross/dragrace car, so maybe we can hit the track soon. Our car has a 2.0 motor like yours with the 2.1/2.3 head and 2.1 intake. It is also gutted (even further than your car is!) and should easily be in the 14 second range, if not high 13s.
