Sounds like you're making really good progress with your car. I'm glad to hear it.

I know people who use quick detailer spray (QD as us fanatics call it) every day. I have a good buddy and former detailing biz partner who used it so frequently on his magazine-cover-car BMW 318ti that he only washed the car twice in the 3.5 years he owned it. So its one of those things you can get addicted to. Use it as often as you like but you might find the expense increasing if used daily. Its certainly your call, though.

As for polishing, the rule of thumb is to polish only as strictly needed. Paint cleaners and polishes have chemical and mechanical abrasives that grind down the clearcoat with every use so the real trick is to polish your paint to perfection the first time then make the effort to maintain it over the long haul using very mild products. Those scratches will require a more aggressive polish than you have now so the decision will be, how badly do you want those gone? They'll have to be leveled (think of the scratch as a valley and you'll be grading the canyon walls to the valley floor). You can use the Step #2 polish/glaze which has fillers in it that will hide the scratches as much as possible so that's another idea, if only a temporary one.
