Whenever I ran out of Windex or any other commercial brand cleaner, I would mix a bottle of equal parts of rubbing alcohol, ammonia and water. I learned it from an older lady who preferred to mix her own cleaning solutions. She says on top of the alcohol disinfecting surfaces, it helps dry it up as well. I use it all over the house and on the cars windows.
