Yes it was. I sold it last month via Saabnet to a fellow enthusiast. I remember the one that you bought off ebay. It was a good deal for the money. I figured that one was a good deal because the dealer probably gave squat on the trade. The trade-in values are awful on the aero (or any car for that matter). As good a condition as mine was in private sale was the only way to go -- I also didn't care if it sold which was nice. I only sold it after I bought the Viggen and mainly want the flexibility to buy something else in the future. My goal is to move where it snows sooner than later and put the Viggen in the garage for the winter. Not sure what I will use as the winter car - maybe an older 9-5 or 9000. Maybe an audi. We'll see when the time comes. I am sorry to say a new car every 12-18 months for me is all to common -- I just tell my wife it is better than most addictions...I will be keeping the Viggen for a while as a project car.

Zaino products can only be purchased from their website or location in NJ. Link is below. The Z-6 boost acts like a spit shine on a boot. It gives the car a wet look and brings out the deepest colors (like your car when wet). Its also used to maintain the look/wax job. For about $85 you can get the entire Zaino system with full instructions. Its fairly dummy proof and provides an outstanding shine. I am now experimenting with supplementing a carunuba wax etc.

You are spot on with the application of the hand glaze. I do small sections at a time (like half a hood etc) and quickly wipe off. That's pretty much good practice for all waxes unless it says on the product to allow it to glaze. The 3M hand Glaze would be a nightmare to get off if you let it dry - its thick stuff.
