Question for Experts

I have a Cosmic Blue 2002 SE Convertible. It had some significant acid rain etching. After two months I finally found a body shop that would agree to remove the acid rain. They removed the acid rain and about 1 mil of clearcoat in the process. This was done on the hood and trunk only. Finish is much better now! Last night I applied 3M Swirl Remover for Dark Colors to the entire car. Nice Product! Removed all minor scratches, etc. My question is where to go from here? I am planning to apply 3M Hand Glaze next and then apply a protectant. Is this a good plan, or is the hand glaze unnecessary? I have a jar of P21S Carnauba and bottles of Blackfire and Dulon synthetics. I want to do all I can to prevent the recurrence of the Acid Rain etching. Should I apply (a) only the carnauba, (b) only a synthetic (if so which one, I am willing to order another brand), (c) apply a synthetic and then apply the P21S, or (d) do something else, e.g., Rejex or Zaino? Any recommendations are appreciated.
