Nathan,
I'm often on the road for a week or longer. It's important to have enough of the right stuff to keep up appearances. But space is as a premium, even in the 9-5 wagon. With lots of help from the folks on this forum and good luck (trial size versions of favorite products!), I can fit all the following in a container roughly the size of a shoebox:
1)Pinnacle NB Body Work Shampoo (2 oz. trial size! Can refill!)
2)Plexus Plastic Cleaner (.42 oz, size of breath spray. Cool.)
3)Eagle A2Z Wheel Cleaner (2 oz pump spray, trial size)
4)Simple Green degreaser (4oz pump spray)
From Griot's Garage, the following "Wipes" packages:
5)Vinyl & Rubber Dressing
6)Interior Cleaner
7)Window Cleaner
8)Speed Shine
Stock Package Size Stuff:
9)Sprayway window cleaner (19 oz) because I'm a clean glass freak
10)Poorboys World "Spray and Wipe" quick detailer(16 oz)...good stuff
Also, Saab touch-up paint (12 ml)
Hardware (not stored with above)
*MF (assorted from many sources) and cotton terry (Griot's "red)cloth
*California Car Duster
*Red Roof Inn round ice buckets (2-one for wheels, one for bugs) Better than square Best Western ones. Leave the maid a tip!
*Griot's interior brush
*Bug Sponge
*"Sun Mate" shower head, when lucky enough to find hose
*Travel toothbrush...(soft enough for my bleeding gums, OK to remove wax *from trim, I figure)
*Griot's three finger sponges for wheels. INDISPENSIBLE
*Latex gloves. Break dust under finger nails not a great career move...
Finish up with waterless hand cleaner (Griot's)and paper towels.
Shouldn't take up too much space in the SPG, no?
Best,
Greg
