Based on an earlier post, I clayed the WS after cleaning with Invisible Glass. After IG'ing again, I used Castrol's AccuVision. Tried this after reading some reviews on Autopia from someone who seems to have his head screwed on straight. Pretty easy to apply and buff. It's been working well this rainy week in NJ. Doesn't streak. Like Rain-X, you really notice it under a hard rain on secondary roads, not busy freeways with a constant spray from tank trucks, garbage trucks...container trucks...the usual New Jersey highway fauna. You hardly need to use the wipers at all.
For grins, I just ordered the glass maintenance kit from Diamondite. Call me a sucker for all the graphs and pseudo-scientific ad copy, but NJ is a pretty hostile environment for cars (According to my HazMat guide, I passed a tanker loaded with mono-ethyl-amine last night on my way to Staten Island. If you fell into the tank, you'd DISSOLVE!) I'll report my experiences when I use the Diamondite system (Spray clay?!). A fool and his money....
Best,
Greg
