My in-laws stopped by last night and brought there Britney. She is a wonderful dog but after last night I was ready to get rid of her. We are all out side talking and I happen to look over at my car (a black 03 9 3 SS that I have had a total of two months) and there she is looking eye level through my drivers side door.
I did not realize I could clear 20 feet in about two steps. So of course my father-in-law goes after her and instead of him putting her back into his car (which I thought he did) he lets her go and five minutes later she is back looking through the window. It was the icing on the cake to a bad night.
So my question is how can I get rid of the lovely claw marks from my driver side door? They do not seem to be too deep.
Is there a point when you have to stop being anal about things like that? I have done my best in keeping it away from the run away carts and inconsiderate people. If there is not a parking space where at least half of your car is safe because it is beside a divider in a parking lot I try to find another car that is new or expensive because you know they will have the consideration not to slam their door into you. If we are going to a function or kids soccer game where you know the parking will be tight we take the wrangler. Do you ever get passed it???????????
