Guru Reports tested 46 waxes and sealants in The Wax Test two years ago and the 3M product finished mid pack.
The word from experienced carnauba users is that 3M can be a bit challenging to apply/remove, shine is average as is durability. Not terrible but not a stand out either.
A better choice for a pure carnauba (no cleaner in it) is Meguiar's #26 Hi Tech Wax. An even better choice is P21S. A fabulous choice is S100, essentially the same as P21S but sold to motorcycle folks (visit your Harley dealer) and $10 cheaper. If money is not a big issue check out Pinnacle Souveran for $70. Awesome on black and red. I place all these above 3M in terms of appearance and performance.
