It's ready for some wax. Use the NXT. I've found it works better on solid colors than metallics as it has the ability to slightly darken/deepen the paint.
Be careful around the rub strips that rings the car and the windshield wiper jets. Get wax into those things and you'll have a helluva time getting it out. Use some masking tape (like blue painters tape from Home Depot) to protect the trim before waxing.
I found some new applicators at WalMart made by Black Magic. They come in a 3-pack and are in different colors so you partner them with a particular product. I used them with NXT and they worked well.
If you don't have microfibers, pick up a few. They make wax removal much easier.
