After reading about PC units for some time and the great job they seem to do, I bought one (7336sp). I bought some extra pads and last Saturday, polished, glazed and waxed my son's black 86 900. In the past, doing this same process by hand yielded ok results, but buffing Meguiar's products off was a pain because it was applied thick in some spots and thin in others. I couldn't believe the results. Application is totally uniform, making hand removal extremely easy. The PC cut my work time by about 75%, so much in fact that I did my black 900 with the same unbelievable results.
The really sweetest part of the deal was that I bought it at Home Depot. The carry some PC products, but did not have the polisher in stock. They ordered it for me and called me when it came in. I drove over to Home Depot, gave them my credit card and they charged me $72!!!!!! As I was walking back to my car in the parking lot, I looked at the receipt and realized that someone screwed up. A young guy took car of me and I didn't want him to suffer any consequences, so I went back in and spoke to the manager. He said, "Don't worry about it, Home Depot can afford it.....that's our cost that he charged you." He said that the kid was in training and will suffer no repercussions.
So I'm on my way home, feeling extremely euphoric and thinking about what a lucky break that was. At that very moment, a bird in flight took a crap on my car about the size of a loaf of bread. Oh well.
