will work great. Use several terrycloth covers and a really big white towel for final hand buffing. Unless you are a commercial detialer there is no need for a porter cable polisher. My Sears Craftsman polisher has been in service for over 12 years and is regularly used on 4 cars. It cost about 1/3 the price of a porter cable.
The key to my not getting swirl marks is covering the whole car with mothers wax after it has cooled in my garage overnight. Using several clean terry cloth covers to remove the wax residue, then finally a rather large white towel for a final buffing. I use white because it helps me see when the last of the residue is off, then it can be bleached along with the buffing covers for the next job.
Every time my car looks like it is covered with glass.
Cheers
David
